Rodney Uhler joined GKIDS in 2016 where he currently serves as the Director of Acquisitions and Development. In this role, he oversees title acquisitions and helps manage studio relations for the acclaimed animation distributor that releases 8 - 12 titles a year, as well as GKIDS' development and production work. He also serves as the Programming Director for the Animation Is Film Festival, the annual Los Angeles animation film festival which is produced by GKIDS, Annecy and Variety. His previous experiences involve programming and curations for renowned museums and film festivals.
